Suspicious fire takes place at Gala bingo Hall

It happened during those early hours this past Sunday morning. At that time the alarms sounded and firefighters were sent out to take care of a fire at the Kings Heath high street location fire at the Bingo Hall.

Over 50 firefighters were there fighting the fire, as it just kept burning, seeming like it would stop until the roof would collapse. Police would even evacuate several flats that were close by to keep the individuals safe that lived there. Since the roof would finally collapse, it proved to be a great move on their part.
Because of the time of the emergency services being notified was so early in the morning, authorities feel that the fire may be one that was set on purpose. Police are still questioning many witnesses to see if anything can be found out.

Hopefully they will find some sort of clues while cleaning up the scene of the fire that will help point to the cause of the fire. It would be a shame if it really does turn out to be something that was done on purpose.

But thankfully no one was hurt during the fire, or around the area from the debris. It will be interesting to see what else will come out over the time when they finish the investigation, whether it was set by a person and is indeed a case of arson or not. For those people who live around that area they will surely sleep better at night, if instead it turns out that something else was to blame for this fire at that Gala Bingo Hall.

Inspection of Bingo bus has many wondering

Though the recent stopping of the Indian Tribes Bingo bus is being called just a routine inspection by the state police, many are still questioning it. Stating that it was conducted more as a raid that breaks the rules of the sovereignty agreement the reservation has with the government.

It happened on September 10th, when three different officers showed up to view the buses the tribe use to bring customers to their bingo game. Out of the 15 that they have nine of them were inspected, or so the police say.

During those inspections there would be four summons that would be issued. One would be for a suspended license of one of the drivers, a broken brake light, and even one because a date log book was out of date. As the inspections were being completed the tribal Chief would protest that this was not allowed to happen unless they had previous notice of them coming over and doing the inspections.

Could this be a disguised way that another state in the US will try and control the gambling of its citizens. It may well be since this is the first time in six years that the inspections have been done, and before that it had been 20 years.

It just seems quite funny when there has been so much talk recently about the Alabama bingo trial, and how the state seems to have infringed on the rights of people to be able to enjoy things. All because they swear bingo will bring crime to the town, not thinking of the jobs it could create for a spot that needs the help.

This time around instead they have gone out of their jurisdiction. The inspections should have been announced and the tribe given time to fix what needed to be done on the buses. Instead of harassing them with something that never should have come up.

Virgin Games already has Virgin Bingo, but they have updated the whole site. Making it the new and revamped Virgin Games webpage. This will be the first change or actually a complete rebuild since they first opened their virtual doors in 2004.

The project has been one that has been worked on for the past six months, using customer feedbacks they had received when 8 months back they asked users for comments. Giving them a new page that should have about everything that a bingo lover could imagine on a site.
